Robbits: Fuzzy Robot Friends Without The Fuzzy

I <3 bunnies. Unfortunately, my current pet (a 6 foot long snake) also <3s bunnies, albeit in a rather different way. For both our sakes, I may have to content myself with a little warren of interactive robotic rabbits: Robbits. They may not have snugly fur, but they do have big ears that perk up when they see people, obstacle avoidance sensors, and infrared beacons to talk to other Robbits.
OMG look at the cute little ears move! Don’t you just want to nuzzle them? But be warned: “if people cross an invisible border and get too close to a Robbit, it has to die a sudden death.” Don’t worry too much, as the Robbits have infinite lives, but the concept behind this behavior is to test how people interact with the Robbits and whether they ascribe intelligence to pre-programmed behavior when it’s in a cute package. As you may have noticed by now, I totally do.
