New Robot Modeled After ‘Astro Boy’

As far as robots with kid faces go, this has gotta be one of the creepiest. He looks like he wants to be your friend, but you just know that it can’t end well.
This new home robot from Hanson Robotics is called Zeno and is loosely modelled after the Japanese comic character, Astro Boy. The 17″, 4.5-pound robot boy can walk, talk, even express emotions, and make eye contact. The prototype, to be unveiled at Wired Nextfest in California next week, is described as an intelligent “conversational robot”. In fact, Zeno tells stories and will share his adventures from the year 2027.
Hanson Robotics designed the animated head which has 12 motors. Tomotaka Takahashi designed the body. It is still at least 2 years away from commercial availability, but if you absolutely need your fix, the Zenosworld website will go live this week to feature videos of Zeno.

Good evening amazing web page. Does some one use cheaper text message marketing services 4 shops @ California than 12stores.com? They only cost nine dollars per a month which is not much, nonetheless my boss James told me there is, but he could not remember its name. 1 in fact start to get suspicion that he remembered wrongly. Any replies appreciated
