Arse Elektronika 2007: F**king Robots

Friday night was opening night for Arse Elektronika, a pornography and technological innovation expo sponsored by Monochrom and Kink.com, and funded by the city of Vienna, Austria (seriously). Saturday and Sunday are packed full of talks and discussions, but Friday kicked the whole thing off with a lineup of performers. One of these was a presentation by Fuckingmachines.com of one of their robots: Fuckzilla. Loosely modeled after Johnny 5, Fuckzilla is battery powered and controlled by remote. She (one of the operators designated it as a “she”) has independently controllable treaded drives, a movable head, and her upper body can be extended up to what looked to be about 5 feet in height. Her arms are modular and allow mounting of a wide variety of sex toys, most of which are modified construction tools and gardening implements. The above picture was taken by a reporter from Wired who had a much nicer camera than I did… But I got the video.
So, let me introduce this… After showing off some of Fuckzilla’s features, the guys presenting Fuckzilla jokingly asked the audience “so, who wants to fuck a robot?” Looooong silence, followed by a “sure, why not.” A young woman who called herself ‘Binx’ agreed to experience Fuckzilla firsthand while providing running commentary. The robot was lubed up, Binx got herself ready, and… Well… Yeah. Note that due to government regulations, we’re not allowed to show Binx’s face (which is why she’s behind the curtain). And one more warning: some parts of the video could be justifiably called porn.
[Update- despite my many warnings in the video, the YouTube community decided to take it down. But it’s back up at blip.tv, and hopefully it’ll stay there.]

Yeah, you know, it’s really lame… The video says NSFW in the title, AND I put a whole sequence of text before the video actually starts explaining that I’m not kidding, it’s a robot having sex with a human, don’t watch if you’ll be offended. Plus, it’s a performance piece, it’s not designed to be porn. And still it gets flagged and removed. :(

Any suggestions as to somewhere less picky? Until now, I’ve been happy enough with YouTube that I haven’t done much investigating of alternate video sharing sites.

Upload it to blip.tv. They are very cool peeps who actually care about content producers and are much less likely to take down your content. As long as the appropriate NSFW disclaimers are in place, they won’t touch it.

Well, Stage6 looked promising, but in their TOS they state that they don’t allow pornographic or obscene content, so that’s no help. I’d rather not have the file hosted directly (if you want a copy, you’ll need to be a little bit creative), and that’s all Blip.tv seems to do, except their embedded player sucks… not only is it Windows Media instead of Flash based, but it didn’t resize the video, so half of it gets cut out.
Um, other suggestions?

As I said, I’d prefer not to make the original file available, as I’d like to retain some semblance of control over this video, lest it rampage out of control and destroy humanity. If I was stealing it from someone else, I wouldn’t care as much, but this one is actually mine, and much suffering was involved in its creation.

Pretty irrelevant if you’re using YouTube or most popular sites, as there’s a bunch of Firefox extensions that’ll rip a vid off them for you. Otherwise how could I collect YouTube music vids? :P

Heh, that’s what I meant about being “creative” if you want a copy :p But MOST people won’t be doing that, whereas downloading an AVI or whatever is so easy a gerbil could do it.

Send it to porkolt.com - it’s usual that it has adult content, just like many other smaller videosites (have you tried a local one, like a youtube clone in a small country or such?). (And it’s allowed!). There are a bunch of others - videa.be, etc.. - or pornographic / erotic ones - yuvutu, xtube……
Also, I don’t know if upload is still available on Google Video, but there was a TOS - change sometime which allowed showing up erotic content AFAIK.
