The movie was good, I really loved it aside from the stale humor. But it has almost NOTHING to do with the book. Some of the characters names, and names of other things are in it and the laws of robotics but thats about it, nooo similar story line at all. Susan Calvin would destroy robots if it was needed unlike in the movie where she despised their destruction. Lanning did not commit suicide, he died at a very old age in the book. Spooner, does not exist. The book was really hit and miss per each chapter, and yes he does go on and on about nothing in particular and often you forget what the characters are even talking about but all I can tell you is, don't take the movies rendition, read it for yourself Dave, don’t forget Audis.
