Extreme Line-Following Robots

I don’t know exactly what this is, but it seems to be some sort of souped-up line-following competition in Japan. The robot cars (if you can call them that) have extra long noses to hold the line sensor package, and thick super high traction wheels. If you look closely at the track, you’ll see some marks next to the lines, which I’m guessing warn the cars of sharp turns and gaps to allow them time to react accordingly. That may kinda be cheating, depending on who you ask, but it lets the cars go really, really fast.

Builds so much confidence in a robot driving my car. It crashed off the course, not to mention it’s scary sitting in the passenger seat with one these things going full speed making sharp turns.
