AUR Robotic Desk Lamp Gets An Acting Job

We covered the AUR autonomous robotic desk lamp over on OhGizmo in June of 2007. In that article, I commented that it looked kinda like a robotic character out of a movie (this movie), and now AUR has an acting job of its own. AUR acts alongside two humans in an MIT production, and is controlled like a puppet, with a mixture of pre-programmed and user actuated commands:
