Pretty cool. That “inverted pendulum” is really awesome, gives a strong effect of a human standing on legs. But, hmm, this is a restaurant, right? What will happen, if somehow smashes into the robot or incidentially hit him with his ars or so. Wouldn’t the fall robot just turn over?

Good idea, but a really bad design. Too much processing power going into it’s Segway balancing act, when with two drivers and a trailing wheel to maintain balance, it can go several times as fast will less processing.

“Oh there’s my food, good. Oh it’s on some sort of robot table? Hmm, that’s a weired looking thing. Well it’s on it’s way. Man I’m hungry. Is it here yet? nope, it’s a quarter of the way. That’s like a twenty foot stretch between here and there. I bet I could walk that far in three seconds. I think it’s been a minute already and… wait a second where is that thing, I’m starving! Oh it’s getting a little closer now. I want my soup, dangit! Oh it’s halfway here. That thing has small wheels… I think in about another minute I’ll have my food. I thought this was a fast food place? I want a refund.”
