R/C Heli + Handgun = DIY Armed UAV (Run For The Hills)

I’m reasonably sure that this is somehow illegal (if not, maybe it should be), but that didn’t stop Jim Simmons from outfitting his Bergen Gasser EB remote controlled helicopter with a Springfield 1911-A .45 caliber remote controlled handgun. And although it’s not on there yet, it’s going to be fitted with a remote gunsight camera. Basically, it’s a DIY Predator with a gun instead of missiles.
Good times.
Or something.

maybe he could hit something if he could learn how to fly.
It’d be great if he put the stabilizer from the kill vehicle on it.

Very cool vid but rigging a firearm to an RC helicopter is very likely illegal! I’m not trying crap on a very cool invention but I do remember reading something about attaching a gun to any type of remote firing device is a violation of federal law.
