R2-D2 In Translation [Maybe NSFW]

Somehow, and I don’t know exactly how, R2-D2 almost makes sense. You can pretty much understand what he’s trying to get across with all of those cute little beeps and boops. But what is he really saying, exactly? Luckily, somebody has taken the time to translate all of R2-D2′s noises and lights and subtle servo motions into actual text. The following video is possibly NSFW, due to foul language in the subtitles… R2-D2 is a dirty little bugger:
Episode 2, after the jump.
YouTube user Michaeluj has a bunch more videos like this, too… A whole series, in fact. Definitely worth watching.

I dunno, I kind of like it better when you can ALMOST understand what he’s saying, but not quite. It’s funnier when it’s open to interpretation.

Between me and my husband we have owned a lot more MP3 players around the decades than I can depend, together with Sansas, iRivers, iPods (traditional & reach for), the Ibiza Rhapsody, and so on. But, the previous few decades I’ve settled straight down to one line of players. Why? Due to the fact I used to be pleased to uncover how very well-designed and exciting to implement the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
