Dirt Cheap Roomba 535: Only $150 (Today Only)

The Roomba 535, which is the Roomba you want to get if you’re getting a Roomba, is now up for sale on Woot.com for a mere $150. I paid over $200 for mine just a few months ago, and that’s still just about as cheap as they get if you look for one retail and use coupons. It’s new (not refurbished or anything), comes with all the accessories including a virtual wall Lighthouse, and includes a 1 year warranty from iRobot. You can also opt for an extended 3 year parts and labor warranty for $20, which I’d recommend… If you use a Roomba as much as iRobot advertises you can, it’ll try to vacuum up objects you never knew you had and repeatedly smash headlong into walls and furniture and replacing worn bearings and filters and stuff can get spendy.
The reason you want to go for the 535 is that unlike the 530, it works with Lighthouses (which help guide the Roomba from room to room and back to its base station) and you can upgrade it with scheduling if you decide later that you want it. And all the other more expensive models are simply more expensive and might have slightly better battery life, but aren’t really any smarter or more sophisticated (they just look different and cost more). If this deal sounds good to you, you should jump on it: the offer is good today only, and once Woot.com sells out, they’re all gone, and who knows when they’ll be back.

This is a one day sale?
Sounds like a scam!
