16 Ridiculous Killer Robots

We post about killer robots (not killer robots, but, you know) a lot here on BotJunkie, simply because that’s where all the money is. But there’s a whole subset of killer robots that we’ve been ignoring: the really, really stupid ones. A.V. Club has put together a list of 16 of them, starting with Roberto the stabbing robot from Futurama, continuing on to Satan’s Robot from Star Trek: Voyager, and somehow ending up with Transformers. Check them all out, here.
Now, of COURSE I have to have some kind of specific problem with this list (besides all the obvious ones). And I do. It’s the omission of what is arguably the most ridiculous killer robot ever: GIR, from Invader Zim. If you’re not familiar with GIR and you feel like watching a whole bunch of stupid-funny cartoons, you can find Invader Zim episodes online, here.
