Maker Faire 2009: Piperoids

Piperoid

Even if you’re entirely incapable of constructing robots out of metal and wires and circuit boards, it’s still possible to build yourself a cool looking robot. Piperoids are robot figures that are made out of paper. They come in preprinted paper tube-things, and are absurdly simple to put together: all you need are scissors and a minimal amount of hand-eye coordination to cut out the pieces and stick them into each other.

A new Piperoid is available every three months or so, and you can buy them in plenty of places, generally for between $20 and $30. More pics, after the jump.
