Vecna BEAR Demonstrates Karate-Chop Action

This is episode 2 of what looks like is going to be a whole series of Vecna Robotics’ BEAR robot demonstrating various tasks in a combination of prototype video and CGI. Most of this stuff we saw in the first vid, except for BEAR chopping a baseball bat in half with its fist, which you can skip right to at about 2:00 in.

The part near the very end where it is balancing on its wheels while curling the weight is really impressive.

You’re right… I initially thought it was the same as the first vid where it looks like it’s being mostly supported by the safety straps, but looking more closely, it does appear as though it’s doing most of the balancing on its own. Sweet!
